FAQ
Do you take requests?
Sorry, I don't!
I may occasionally give away art on twitter, but please do not randomly dm me asking for free art.
You can, however, send me an ask on tumblr with general prompts and ideas!
There's no guarantee that I'll do it, but if you'd like to see a canon character or scenario in my style you're welcome to ask!
Do you do art trades?
Normally, no.
If I'm ever interested an art trade, I will make a post about it on Twitter or I will respond to yours! Other than that, I don't do them.
Can I use your art as my pfp?
Yes!!!
You are more than welcome to use my art as icons, banners, lockscreens, wallpapers, etc! Credit would be appreciated if you're using it publicly.
Can I repost your art?
I would prefer that you didn't.
I post my art on my own accounts on Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram. For Twitter and Tumblr, please retweet or reblog instead! If you really want to repost my art on Instagram specifically, please credit my Instagram (@numumy) before the break (the "more" button). Please don't hide credit deep in the caption even if you think it looks better to do it that way.Commissioners however are of course welcome to post their commissioned art!
What program do you use?
SAI, CSP, Drawpile, + Procreate.
I actually primarily draw in Drawpile because sketching there is comfortable for me, and I enjoy drawing with my friends!
I've used SAI for more refined stuff for years though, and have recently been trying to use CSP (mostly for painted things). I sometimes use Procreate on my phone for finishing touches.
Why didn't you answer my DM?
If your DM says something vague like "hi" or "can I ask a question", I am unlikely to answer it because I get a lot of DMs like that from people who just wind up asking me for free art. Please elaborate on why you're DMing me in your initial message, like "I have a question about your art process" or "I have a commission related question", or just flat out ask me your question instead of waiting for me to give you permission to do so!If I still don't respond, I either didn't see it (send me another message!) or I wasn't comfortable responding. "Can we be friends?" from a stranger is a common one. I don't make friends this way and being asked like that makes me really nervous, I'm sorry!
Why did you block me?
I block liberally on Twitter to save myself stress, social media can be draining, and I like to try to minimize that for my own health. It doesn't necessarily mean that I dislike you or think you did something terrible so please don't take it personally. However, it's usually for the following reasons:
Racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, etc.
Pedophilia, "proshipping" (you draw or think it's okay to draw porn of children), zoophilia, etc.
NFTs
Generally just any behavior that I find abrasive. If you think it's fun to be rude and annoying in people's replies then you can assume that I saw and preemptively blocked you for that reason lol
I also have a sensory processing disability. Certain images, gifs, videos, etc. can cause me a lot of pain. It's possible that I literally just blocked you for an innocuous reaction image you used on someone's post because it set my brain on fire for no reason, I'm sorry.Regardless of why you think you might be blocked, please don't contact me to ask me to unblock you.
Can I see your lizard?
Behold... she
I have a different question.
You're welcome to send me an ask on Tumblr or a DM on Twitter/Instagram!
